Ian Paisley (finally) calls it quits

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 24 hours, you’ll know that the Rev. Ian Paisley has announced that he is stepping down as leader of the DUP in May. The end of an era, I guess. My neighbour, and minister for foreign affairs, Dermot Ahern didn’t seem too upset at the prospect his departure, having being subjected to his various “diatribes” over the years.
